Largent's keynote address, scheduled for Monday, August 13, will focus on the wireless trends that are shaping the future of the trucking industry, drawing on his rich history as the president and CEO of CTIA-The Wireless Association and his more than seven years representing Oklahoma's First Congressional District in Congress where he served as the vice-chairman of the Energy and Air Quality Subcommittee. Before taking the helm at CTIA, Largent worked as a consultant for Washington, D.C.-based Wiley Rein & Fielding and traveled the country as a highly sought-after motivational speaker. Largent has received numerous awards for his achievements including being named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans by the Jaycees and the NFL Man of the Year for his commitment to community service, as well as receiving the Golden Plate Award by the American Academy of Achievement. Athletes in Action also awarded Largent the first Bart Starr Award for serving as an exemplary role model both on and off the field.
