The flagship will carry the Company’s entire assortment including expanded collections from Eva Mendes and Gabrielle Union

New York & Company (NYSE:NWY) announced the grand opening of their largest store in the world today. The Company has opened an 18,000 square feet retail store on State Street, an iconic retail destination in Downtown Chicago.

The two-level store will include expanded assortments from all of its exclusive brands, including the Eva Mendes and Gabrielle Union Collections, as well as 7th Avenue Design Studio, Soho Jeans, and Soho Street Collections.

“We are so excited to be back on State Street after several years out of the Downtown Chicago market. We had over 30K loyal clients in our former State Street store and we can’t wait to serve them again! We see this as a huge opportunity for us as we continue to identify locations that we believe will be key to our growth and success,” says Greg Scott, CEO of New York & Company.

New York and Company is focused on having a "Fit for Everyone,” and the extensive size range of XXS- XXL, including petite, average, tall and curvy fits will be accessible to all customers. For the first time ever, the Company’s recently acquired plus-size brand, Fashion to Figure, will also be housed in the shared space.

The new store is hosting launch parties on Thursday, August 30th and Friday, August 31st that will include a DJ and gift certificate raffles. The women’s specialty retailer will also host several scheduled events in the upcoming months to support the grand opening, such as influencer styling events and celebrity meet-and-greets.
