Reed Elsevier to Buy Back Up to GBP100 Million Shares Jan 1-Feb 25

LONDON--Anglo-Dutch publishing and information company Reed
Elsevier PLC (REL.LN) and Reed Elsevier N.V. (REN.AE) said Thursday
it will buy up to 100 million pounds ($156.94 million) of its
ordinary shares between Jan. 1, 2015 and Feb. 25, due to its
"strong financial position and cash flow characteristics."
The company, which is co-headquartered in London and Amsterdam,
said the buyback follows completion of its GBP600 million share
buyback program in 2014.
