Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

 

On May 11, 2023, TMC the metals company Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2023 and providing a business update. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto. In addition, the Company will hold a conference call on May 11, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. EDT to discuss these results and the business update.
