Valero L.P. (NYSE:VLI) today announced that it has successfully completed the purchase of the St. James Crude Oil facility located in Louisiana from Koch Supply and Trading, L.P. for $140 million. The acquisition will be financed with a borrowing under the partnership�s revolving credit facility. The acquisition includes 17 crude oil tanks and three heated refined product tanks with a total capacity of approximately 3.3 million barrels. Additionally, the facility has a rail-loading facility and three docks with barge and ship access. The facility is located on approximately 220 acres of land on the west bank of the Mississippi River approximately 60 miles west of New Orleans and has an additional 585 acres of undeveloped land.
