The Company was today informed that, Mr Nik Philpot, a director of the Company,
purchased on 10 October 2003, 100,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the
Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 14p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Philpot has a beneficial interest in 2,282,861
Ordinary Shares, which represents approximately 0.9 per cent. of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.
