deployed claims teams throughout Southern California to assist its
policyholders affected by the wildfires as they initiate the claims
process. "We are committed to supporting our policyholders as they
cope with these devastating fires," said Senior Vice President of

onsite in the impacted areas of California where public safety

work with policyholders to get them back on their feet and begin

following when they report a claim: 1. Contact from the claims
representative within 24 hours of reporting. 2. Detailed discussion
of policy benefits. 3. A timeline so that policyholders will know
what to expect and when. 4. Immediate disbursement of funds to
cover initial living expenses, such as hotel or apartment rental,
food, clothing, and other necessities while the insured's home is
uninhabitable. Additional funds will be made available to cover
long term displacement should the need arise. Additionally, Mercury
may also provide up to two weeks of living expenses for those
policyholders who may have had to evacuate their homes, but
