Plant Adds Clean, Combined Cycle Capacity; PSEG Power's Diverse Generating Fleet Now at 15,000 MW NEWARK, N.J., May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PSEG Power has completed construction and testing of the Linden (NJ) Combined Cycle Energy Project and the 1,220-megawatt (MW) natural gas fired facility has been placed in commercial operation. The state-of-the-art facility is located in Linden (Union County) NJ, and will provide the state and region with a new source of clean, efficient, and environmentally responsible energy. The new facility replaces 430 MW of oil-fired steam capacity at the site.
