A Deletion from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index
TORONTO, July 17, 2014 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian
Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX
Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of Augusta Resource Corporation
(TSX:AZC) have agreed to the terms of a takeover bid from HudBay
Minerals Inc. (TSX:HBM). Augusta shareholders will receive 0.315
shares of HudBay and 0.17 of a HudBay warrant for each share held.
Augusta will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index after
the close of trading on Thursday, July 24,
2014.
