TORONTO, Sept. 28, 2016 /CNW/ - (TSXV: GMN) GobiMin Inc. (the "Company" or "GobiMin") announces that Mr. Zhang Ming has resigned as Director of the Company effective on September 28, 2016 for health issues. The Company would like to thank Mr. Zhang for his services and contributions.

Concurrent with Mr. Zhang's resignation, the Company is pleased to announce that Ms. Joyce Yuen Kwan Ko has been appointed as Director of the Company effective on   September 28, 2016 subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.  Ms. Ko is presently the Chief Financial Officer, Vice President Corporate Affairs and Secretary of the Company. She holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Queensland University of Technology.  She is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the CPA Australia and the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries respectively.
