A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite and Venture
Select Indices
TORONTO, Aug. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian
Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX
Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of Lumina Copper Corp.
(TSXVN:LCC) have approved the terms of a Plan of Arrangement with
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Lumina Copper shareholders
will receive a combination of cash and First Quantum shares for
each share held. Lumina Copper will be removed from the S&P/TSX
Venture Composite and Venture Select Indices after the close of
trading on Thursday, August 21,
2014.
