Multiplied Media Corporation ("Multiplied" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:MMC),
a leading provider of mobile local search services and creator of the
multi-award winning Poynt application for BlackBerry smartphones, iPhone and
iPod Touch, and Android devices, today announced its name change to Poynt
Corporation. The common shares of the Company will begin trading under the
symbol (TSX VENTURE:PYN) at the open of markets on Wednesday, October 27, 2010.


The Company's name change better reflects their corporate focus, as creators of
the Poynt application. The name change was approved by shareholders at the
Annual and Special General Meeting held October 20, 2010.
