Alphinat Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NPA) is saddened to learn of the loss of Marcel Cote
this past Sunday.


"Marcel was a strong supporter and shareholder of Alphinat from the beginning.
He remained close to the company regularly volunteering advice," said Michel
Lemoine, Chairman of the Board of Alphinat. "On February 26, 2014, he joined
Alphinat's board of Directors to play a more active role with the Company. We
have lost a great friend and collaborator."


"Marcel's contribution to Alphinat have been great and diverse" said Philippe
Lecoq, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alphinat. "He was fully invested
in the success of the Company and contributed to many facets of the Alphinat's
activities. He was a mentor and was very generous with his time. His presence
and wisdom will be missed."

Marcel.
