Russell Breweries Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RB) (the "Company") advises that Perpinder
Singh Patrola has resigned as a director of the Company. 


The board of directors of the Company is seeking to fill the two vacancies in
director positions with experienced director candidates that have a sound
understanding of the brewery business. In this connection, the independent
directors of the Company have identified and held discussions with two potential
director candidates that possess such experience, and will continue to seek out
exceptional director candidates until new directors with the appropriate skills
and experience are appointed to fill such vacancies.

sells and distributes a diverse portfolio of award-winning beers that are
produced by its wholly-owned regional breweries: Russell Brewing Company in
