Radiant Energy Corporation, (TSX VENTURE: RDT) ("Radiant" or the "Company") announced today it expects additional airlines to use the Radiant state-of-the-art deicing system for this coming winter season at the John F. Kennedy Airport "(JFK") in New York. Several additional world-class airlines have indicated they will begin using the Radiant system for deicing their aircraft during the upcoming season, including during peak schedule periods, for which management is concluding negotiations on formal agreements.

"The addition of these world-class carriers would further confirm the value of Radiant's proprietary deicing technology in terms of dependability, cost per application and time needed to deice", commented David Speirs, President & CEO of the Company's U.S. subsidiary. "This will be the third year of operation at JFK, and the success to date of the Radiant system is evidenced by an increase in airline and corporate aircraft operator usage each year. Depending on the weather, we expect this coming winter season to be its busiest so far."

Radiant's deicing system has recently received an Environmental Achievement Award from the FAA and the US Department of Transport. The award supports the Company's position that Radiant's deicing system is a superior alternative to conventional glycol based deicing methods as it is cost effective and significantly reduces negative environmental impacts.
