West Hawk Development Corp. ("West Hawk") (TSX VENTURE:WHD)(FRANKFURT:H5N) (the
"Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Dongfei Wang from the Lu'An Mining
Industry (Group) Co. Ltd. ("Lu'An") has been appointed to the Board of Directors
of West Hawk. Mr. Wang first joined the Board of Managers of West Hawk Energy
(USA), LLC (WHE) in 2007. He is currently the Director of the Technology Center
for the Lu'An Mining Industry (Group) Co. Ltd and a director of the Coal to
Liquids Company's Board of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.


Prior to his current positions, Mr. Wang was the Executive Deputy General
Manager of the Lu'An Coal to Liquids Company, a subsidiary company of Lu'An. Mr.
Wang has received more than ten technology awards for his contributions to the
Chinese Coal Mining and Coal to Liquids Industries at the National, Provincial,
City, and Company Levels.
