West Hawk Development Corp. (TSX VENTURE:WHD) (the "Company") announces the
appointment of Lonny Haugen to the Company's board of directors.


Mr. Haugen is a certified public accountant with 30 years of business and
financial management experience. He currently serves as the Company's Chief
Financial Officer.


The Company is continuing to actively search for suitable candidates to fill the
remaining vacancies on the board.
