- (TSXV - WMI) - Whetstone Minerals Ltd. ("Whetstone") is
pleased to advise that, further to its press release of
December 9, 2011, a panel of the
Alberta Securities Commission ("ASC") has cleared
Robert H. Stan, a director of
Whetstone, and all of the other respondents of all wrongdoing in
connection with a Notice of Hearing issued by staff of the ASC with
respect to him and certain other persons alleging contraventions of
Section 147 of the Securities Act (Alberta) and conduct contrary to the public
interest. In its decision dated April
10, 2013, the ASC panel found that staff of the ASC did not
prove any of their allegations against Mr. Stan and the other
respondents and, as a result, dismissed all allegations.
Whetstone was not in any way connected with the allegations.
