Western Uranium Corporation ("WUC" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WUC) is
pleased to announce drilling has started on the regional uranium targets: Bull
Basin and Old Man Springs on the Kings Valley Project, Nevada. To expedite the
program and accommodate permitting of a large number of drill sites, the core
drill program is being helicopter assisted. One core rig is currently on-site
and drilling, with the second rig scheduled to arrive within the next seven
days. Currently, approximately 50 holes are planned in this phase, with 25 holes
allocated to each respective target. The Company anticipates the program will
take 3 to 4 months to complete with two core rigs drilling 24/7.

Both Old Man Springs and Bull Basin lie along a projected structural trend from
the areas of known mineralization hosting 4.8 million pounds in 3.0 MT at a
grade of 0.081% U3O8 (NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate). The Bull Basin and
Old Man Springs anomalies were defined using a combination of exploration
methodologies including stream sediment sampling, ground magnetometer surveys
and radon track-etch sampling. To better delineate and refine the radon and
magnetic anomalies, the Company undertook a soil-gas hydrocarbon (SGH) survey at
each sample site. The SGH samples measure low-level gas emissions from decaying
microorganisms that break down concentrations of buried minerals such as
uranium, gold, copper, etc. and later emit various gases distinctly associated
with each type of mineral. The compilation of data from these samples was
combined with geologic mapping and a regional structural analysis for the
selection of specific drill sites. A review of the data and drill program was
undertaken with Cameco, Western's Strategic Alliance partner, during a technical
committee meeting that included an on-site visit in April. Both companies are
encouraged with the large size, intensity, and definition of the anomalies and
believe the current drill program will provide valuable first pass exploratory
information.
