WOODWARD, Okla., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc., (OTC:APWL) ("APT"), a diversified technology company, announces today that it is implementing an initiative to become a fully reporting company. The Company is undergoing a program to comply with the reporting requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and, thereafter, apply for an Over the Counter Bulletin Board listing. While APT's ability to trade on the OTCBB will require that it becomes compliant on a number of issues, some beyond its control, the Company will begin to take steps to achieve this objective. The first phase of the initiative involves a standard audit of the Company's requisite financials. This phase will be implemented this month. The company feels that it will be able to market itself as a leader in Broadband over Power Line (BPL) and Power Line Communications (PLC) friendly devices, as well as a growing technology products designer, manufacturer and distributor that creates innovative devices which will have a price advantage over its competitors. "In 2005, APT laid the foundation for an exciting future. It is now time to make sure our efforts receive the proper exposure; this is an important step in that direction. We are committed to gaining status on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board. Greater transparency should attract new shareholders, as should the increased visibility, liquidity, and overall market conditions that are offered on the OTCBB," stated Jack Lin, APT Chairman and CEO. Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc.'s principal business focus is to create and develop Broadband over Power Line (BPL) and Power Line Communications (PLC) friendly devices, products and services. The company's principal products at this time are cellular phones and liquid crystal display (LCD) digital monitors and high definition tuners (HDTV) available for viewing television programming. The company intends on marketing the sales of cellular phones, high definition digital monitors and HDTV available for viewing television programming internationally and domestically. Upon the completion of research, development, and the verification of test results of the company's BPL and PLC devices, the company intends to utilize the technology within the existing product platforms to enhance their capabilities. APT's main products will become BPL and PLC friendly devices with the Company's related hardware and system service.
