Computer services company Capgemini SA (CAP.FR) said Wednesday
that it has been awarded an outsourcing contract worth over 100
million euros ($132 million) by consumer goods company Unilever
(UN).
MAIN FACTS:
-Capgemini has been awarded a five-year outsourcing contract for
Unilever continuing its seven-year relationship delivering IT
services to Unilever.
-Capgemini also won a new contract to provide finance and
accounting services, across more than 130 countries, as one of
Unilever's global strategic suppliers, said the company in a
statement.
-The new contract will commence in January 2013, with services
being delivered from Chile, Brazil, Guatemala, India, Singapore and
China.
