September 06 2005 - 10:00AM
PR Newswire (US)
CRYSTAL CITY, Texas, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ecoloclean
Industries, Inc. (OTC:ECCI) (BULLETIN BOARD: ECCI) , announced
today that it has been in constant contact with the officials from
the State and Government Offices for the State of Louisiana and
Mississippi to provide potable drinking water by utilizing its
Electrocoagulation units (EC Units) to the populace of New Orleans
and surrounding cities and areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Ecoloclean expects to receive notification within the next few days
that it will be permitted to install EC units at strategically
designated locations. Ecoloclean Industries, Inc., in conjunction
with its wholly owned subsidiary, World Environmental Technologies,
Inc., currently has three mobile EC units available that can
provide a minimum of 300,000 gallons of potable water daily to
assist in satisfying some of the demand for clean potable water in
the Hurricane ravaged areas. It is apparent that Ecoloclean
Industries, Inc. and World Environmental Technologies, Inc. can
provide some small relief to the citizens of New Orleans and the
surrounding area by providing its services for potable water. Prior
analytical tests have indicated that Ecoloclean's electrocoagulated
processed water is suitable for drinking, bathing and other normal
human usage and is basically free of contaminants such as bacteria,
algae, ecoli and other harmful contaminants. It will be necessary
for Ecoloclean Industries, Inc. and World Environmental
Technologies, Inc. to provide portable generators to power their
electrocoagulation units (EC units), which have to be transported
to the designated areas. The physical logistics of placing the EC
units and the method of distribution are being worked out.
Management does not feel this will be a problem once it has been
notified that it has been accepted to provide this service. Royis
Ward, President and CEO of Ecoloclean Industries, Inc., said, "This
catastrophic hurricane has left many without the most basic
necessities of life, specifically potable water. We hope to bring
some relief to Hurricane Katrina's victims and assist in providing
some normalcy to the stricken areas." About Ecoloclean Industries,
Inc. Ecoloclean Industries, Inc. is the parent company of two

including, but not limited to, refineries, petroleum related
