Infinite Announces Powerboat Race

Infinite Networks Corporation (Pink Sheets: INNX) and CET, LLC, a
wholly owned subsidiary of Infinite Networks, announced today a
world record race set for early February. The announcement was made
by John W. Bush, President of Infinite Networks Corporation. In an
interview Bush stated, This is the news that everyone has been
waiting for months to see. The Washington Daily News article
released Wednesday tells the story better than any comments I can
make at this time. We expect more exciting news as we get closer
the race date. The enclosed article released by The Washington
Daily News on January 24, 2007 written by Lawrence Keech, Staff
Writer, tells the story. Fountain to go for the record in February
By LAWRENCE KEECH Staff Writer The Cat Killer, a 47-foot Fountain
Powerboat could be poised to establish a new world record for
V-bottom boats, and possibly top the famed Catamarans. Though a
formal official announcement has not been made, Al Solaroli, the
designer of CET Engines, confirmed Fountain's attempt will be made
in early February. "Everything's going good," said Solaroli, whose
engine technology pushed Fountain beyond the current record - near
171 miles per hour - during an offshore race here in August. "We
are going the 9th, 10th and 11th of February." Several calls to
Fountain Powerboats to confirm the date were not immediately
returned; however, Solaroli, who was testing cars Tuesday, said
boat preparations and testing will resume Thursday. "We've flopped
over 180 (miles per hour) a few times," he said of previous boat
tests, adding he could offer more details later this week. Solaroli
first said the turbo-driven engines had a potential to deliver 350
horsepower for every one liter of displacement, while boasting 85
percent efficiency. After a minor mechanical problem in August,
further testing in September showed the out drives could not handle
the engines' full power. In his statement, released by parent
company Infinite Networks, Solaroli said, "We have retuned the
engines to 2,200 horsepower and 2,048 foot pounds of torque from a
possible 3,150 horsepower and 2,955 foot pounds of torque." It
remains to be seen if testing done after Thanksgiving and leading
up to the kilo event will produce the near 200-mile-per-hour speeds
originally thought possible. However, Fountain's redesign of the
47-foot hull for the race boat has, in itself, already produced
faster speeds, landing the longtime boat manufacturer both and
world and national championship, as well as a first-overall ranking
in the final race of the 2006 season. It marked the first overall
win for a V-bottom boat over the historically quicker catamarans.
The feat was backed up with a victory in a Jacksonville, Fla. poker
run, garnering the boat the nickname Cat Killer. Video of that
event is available online at www.fountainpowerboats.com. More
