Award-Winning McAfee Products to Be Available on Protocall's
On-Demand Virtual Inventory System COMMACK, N.Y., March 23
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Protocall Technologies Incorporated
(OTC:PCLI) (BULLETIN BOARD: PCLI) http://www.protocall.com/, today
announced a licensing agreement with McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE), the
leading dedicated security technology company, to include McAfee(R)
software titles on Protocall's virtual inventory system for the
retail marketplace beginning in the second quarter of 2006. "We are
thrilled to work with McAfee to include their award-winning
software titles on our virtual inventory system," said Donald
Hoffmann, CEO of Protocall Technologies. "McAfee is a premiere
provider of security technology whose software products represent a
major addition to our product offering." "McAfee is continually
seeking new ways to bring our products to market," said Todd
Gephart, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Consumer and Mobile
Sales at McAfee, Inc. "Protocall's virtual inventory system
provides consumers with fast, easy access to McAfee's award-winning
security products in the retail channel, and we are excited to
offer consumers this option." Protocall's virtual inventory system
enables store retailers and online etailers, along with content
owners, to increase product availability at the point of sale while
reducing their dependence on physical inventories, one of the
industry's largest cost categories. McAfee joins more than 200
other software publishers whose software products are distributed
through Protocall's virtual inventory system. At store locations,
consumers can browse and select available products from multi-media
touch-screen display terminals located on the sales floor. Orders
are produced behind the counter by store personnel in minutes using
the system's order-fulfillment station. For online orders,
consumers browse and select available titles from an etailer's
website with orders produced at product distribution centers or
store locations. McAfee Internet Security Suite, McAfee
VirusScan(R), McAfee Personal Firewall Plus and McAfee
SpamKiller(TM) will be included in Protocall's virtual inventory
system. McAfee Internet Security Suite helps prevent viruses,
spyware, hackers, and "phishing" scams that may result in lost
files, identity theft, and poor PC performance. McAfee VirusScan
detects, blocks, and removes viruses, worms, Trojans, and spyware.
VirusScan's award-winning threat prevention technology also helps
prevent identity theft and poor PC performance. McAfee Personal
Firewall Plus continuously monitors broadband, dial-up, or wireless
Internet connection, preventing unwanted traffic to and from a PC.
McAfee SpamKiller is a comprehensive anti-spam solution that helps
keep inboxes free from unwanted, fraudulent, offensive, and
"phishing" e-mails. About McAfee McAfee, Inc., headquartered in
Santa Clara, California, and the leading dedicated security
technology company, delivers proactive and proven solutions and
services that secure systems and networks around the world. With
its unmatched security expertise and commitment to innovation,
McAfee empowers home users, businesses, the public sector, and
service providers with the ability to block attacks, prevent
