STOCKHOLM--Sandvik AB said Thursday its nomination committee
proposes the current chief executive of lock maker Assa Abloy AB,
Johan Molin, to be elected board chairman at Swedish engineering
company's annual shareholders' meeting on May 7.
Mr. Molin, born 1959, holds a degree from the Stockholm School
of Economics. He will replace Anders Nyren, who has said he isn't
available for re-election as chairman, Sandvik said.
The committee also proposes the election of Jennifer Allerton,
Claes Boustedt and Mr. Molin as new board members and the
re-election of the board members Olof Faxander, Jürgen M
Geissinger, Johan Karlström, Hanne de Mora and Lars Westerberg,
Sandvik said.
