Boralex Inc. said Wednesday that it has signed a 15-year fleet-service contract with Vestas France to optimize its sites in France.

The Canadian builder and operator of renewable energy power facilities said the Danish manufacturer will optimize Boralex's sites across France that are equipped with Vestas' wind turbines, representing about 300 megawatts in operation.

"This contract will enable Boralex to benefit from competitive operating costs and to meet production commitments in line with its optimization strategy," the company said.

The company said the contract became effective on June 1.
