  NEGOTIATIONS BETWEEN INDUSTRI KAPITAL AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS IN PERSTORP AB

The following information was released today by AB Custos and Industri Kapital:

"Industri Kapital is engaged in advanced negotiations with a number of major
shareholders in Perstorp AB, including AB Custos, the Fourth AP Fund, Nordea
Funds and SEB Funds, as well as members of the Wendt family.  The intention is
that these discussions, which are also being conducted with Perstorp, will be
completed by the end of March.

The negotiations could result in a public offer being tendered for all of the
shares and convertible debentures in Perstorp AB.  The spin-off and separate
stock-market listing of Perstorp's flooring operations will be implemented in
accordance with Perstorp's previously announced plans.

Further information will be presented at a later juncture."

Perstorp AB confirms that discussions are under way.  In addition to the
Information above, the company has no comments on the matter at present.
