                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES

The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 17,850 of its own shares, being 10,500
A-shares and 7,350 B-shares for NOK 163.65 and NOK 143.64 per share
respectively.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 591,200 of its own
shares, being 511,550 A-shares and 79,650 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 59,103,856.
