Skipton Building Society announces the retirement of its non-executive Chairman 
John Rawlings at the conclusion of this year's annual general meeting.  David 
Cutter, Group Chief Executive, commented "on behalf of my fellow Board members, 
I would like to thank John for his service as Chairman over the past five years 
and for his overall contribution to the Board since 1995 and wish him well for 
the future". 
Alastair Findlay, whom has been a member of the Board since 2006, succeeded John 
Rawlings as Chairman.
