Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC


The company was informed yesterday by Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Group
Limited that after the sale of 25,000 ordinary 25p shares, Dresdner Kleinwort
Wasserstein Securities Limited and the Allianz AG Group and certain of its
subsidiaries no longer have a disclosable interest in Manganese Bronze Holdings
PLC.

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Group Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of
Dresdner Investments (UK) Limited, a direct subsidiary of Zenon Beteiligungs
GmBH, a direct subsidiary of Dresdner Bank AG. Dresdner Bank AG is a direct
subsidiary of Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs GmBH which is itself a direct
subsidiary of Allianz AG. Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Group Limited is the
holding company of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Securities Limited.

The shares disposed of were held in the nominee name of DRKWS Nominees Limited.
