                  Resignation of directors

Acorn Group plc hereby gives notification that Stanley Boland, 
Marco De Benedetti, Hermann Hauser, Andrew Hopper, 
Gordon Owen CBE and Christopher Ward have resigned as 
executive directors of Acorn Group plc and that such resignations 
became effective on 1 June 1999.

Acorn Group plc also hereby gives notification that on 1 June 1999, 
Rachel Lord, Neville Diffey, Simon Merchant and Stephen Souchon 
were appointed as directors of Acorn Group plc and that such 
appointments are to take immediate effect.
