                          ("Arc VCT" or "the Company")


                             Issue of Equity


The Company announces that, in relation to the Offer for Subscription of up to
7,500,000 new C Shares of 50p each at a price of 100p per share (the 'Offer') as
announced on 22 November 2007, it has received subscriptions for a further
117,250 C Shares. The Company has applied to the London Stock Exchange for the
admission of the C Shares and trading is expected to commence on 9 April 2008.
The Offer remains open until 12 noon on 30 June 2008.


This brings the total new C Shares subscribed for under the Offer to 260,905.
