The Aida Closed-Ended Fund Limited 
 
Recommended proposals for the mandatory redemption of shares and voluntary 
winding-up of the company 
 
The board of the Company announces that the shareholders have today voted in 
support of the recommended proposals for the mandatory redemption of shares and 
voluntary winding-up of the Company which were announced on 2 July 2010. 
 
The Mandatory Redemption has been completed, with 19 out of every 20 Ordinary 
Shares, and all of the Side-Pocket Shares, held by each shareholder being 
redeemed. In exchange for these 19 Ordinary Shares being redeemed, a First 
Distribution of 18.4 ordinary shares and 0.2 redemption shares in The Aida 
Open-Ended Fund Limited has been made. In addition, a First Distribution of one 
side-pocket share in The Aida Open-Ended Fund Limited for each Side-Pocket 
Share redeemed has been made. 
 
Ashley Charles Paxton and Robert James Kirkby of KPMG Channel Islands Limited 
have been appointed as joint liquidators to the Company. 
 
It is currently anticipated that shareholders will receive a statement of their 
new Aida Open-Ended Fund shareholdings in the week commencing 9 August 2010, 
and that a Final Distribution estimated at a value of approximately US$1 per 
remaining Ordinary Share held will be made by the liquidators in the fourth 
quarter of 2010.
