consecutive year, the readers of Global Traveler magazine have
bestowed the honor of "Best Airline for Domestic First Class" upon
American Airlines, a founding member of the oneworld(R) Alliance.
Global Traveler's annual GT Tested Awards program surveyed more
than 31,400 business and leisure travelers to determine the best in
business and luxury travel for 2008. The GT Tested Awards will be
presented on Jan. 15, 2009, in Los Angeles. "We're honored that the

to compete for and win the loyalty of our business travelers. We
strive to differentiate ourselves from competitors by investing in

magazine or individuals associated with the travel industry were
not accepted. The December issue of Global Traveler features
American's "Best Airline for Domestic First Class" recognition
along with other travel-related awards. "For the third year in a
row, our readers have voted American Airlines for Best Domestic
