Aquabella Group plc ("Aquabella" or the "Company"), the producer of premium
quality Barramundi fish from sustainable stock, announces that 18,253,095
ordinary shares of 4p each in the capital of the Company have today been
admitted to trading on AIM. The Company's trading symbol is "AQA".

Highlights of the Placing:

  * �2.28 million (�1.78 million net of expenses) has been raised for Aquabella
    via a placing at 100 pence per share
   
  * On admission the market capitalisation of Aquabella at the placing price
    will be �18.2 million
   
  * The net proceeds of the placing will be used for working capital proceeds
   
The Business

  * Aquabella currently produces and grows Barramundi, a white-fleshed
    Australian native fish, which it sells to the wholesale, retail and
    restaurant markets in the UK;
   
  * Barramundi was selected as the first species to be farmed by the Company
    because of its success in Australia and because it is believed by the
    directors to be attractive to the retail, wholesale and restaurant market.
    Barramundi has gained the reputation as one of Australia's finest eating
    fish as it has few bones and is rich in Omega 3 essential fatty acids and
    low in fat;
   
  * According to the Food and Agriculture Organisation the total world demand
    for fish is expected to be approximately 160 million tonnes per annum by
    2030. Due to an increasing world population and world capture of natural
    fish stocks projected to stagnate, world demand for aquaculture products is
    accelerating to fill the "supply gap";
   
  * A key feature of the Company's advanced aquaculture system is its modular
    design, allowing production capacity to be quickly enhanced to match market
    demand. The current facility is capable of producing up to 400 tonnes of
    Barramundi per annum;
   
  * Highly experienced board and management team;
   
  * As at 30 August 2006, Aquabella employed 17 personnel all of whom were
    located in Lymington, Hampshire; and
   
  * City Financial Associates Limited acts as both Nominated Adviser and Broker
    to Aquabella.
