Archipelago Resources PLC (the "Company")

Admission of shares to AIM


Further to the Company's announcement on 24 September 2007 of a placing of
22,000,000 new ordinary shares at 25p to raise #5.5 million for the Company,
application has now been made for the final tranche of 2,000,000 of those shares
to be traded on AIM. Admission is expected on 24 October 2007.

In total, application to AIM has now been made for the full amount of 22,000,000
new ordinary shares in respect of the placing, bringing the Company's total
number of shares in issue (all with voting rights) to 171,759,334 ordinary
shares.
