    Update re Takeover and Change in Substantial Shareholder Interest

Aztec was informed today by Mt Gibson that its interest in Aztec is now
780,737,351 ordinary shares or 68.95%, including shares owned by parties who
have accepted the Offer. The previous notice by Mt Gibson of its interest in
Aztec, on 6 December 2006, stated that at that time Mt Gibson had an interest in
712,137,735 ordinary shares or 62.89%.
