Result of Theratase Court Hearing
Admission to trading on AIM of New BBI Shares
and
Delisting of Theratase Ordinary Shares

At the Theratase Court Hearing held today, the Court sanctioned the Theratase
Scheme of Arrangement under section 425 Companies Act 1985 (the "Scheme"),
pursuant to which Theratase has become a wholly owned subsidiary of BBI.

Application has been made for admission to trading on AIM of up to 15,804,437
new ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each of BBI ("New BBI Shares") to be issued in
accordance with the terms set out in the Scheme and the Admission Document and
of up to 26,740,333 existing BBI shares. Admission of the BBI Shares is expected
to become effective on 16 May 2007.

The New BBI Shares will, upon issue, rank pari passu in all respects with BBI's
existing ordinary shares. Following the issue of the New BBI Shares, BBI will
have up to 42,544,770 ordinary shares in issue.

The cancellation of the listing of the Theratase ordinary shares from the
Official List of the London Stock Exchange is expected to take effect at 8:00
a.m. on 16 May 2007.
