Disclosure of Interest in Relevant Share Capital

In accordance with Section 134 of the Companies Act 1989, I can confirm that the
company was today informed by Brockhampton Holdings Employee Share Ownership
Trust that on 26th January 2000 they disposed of and then repurchased 706
Ordinary Shares in Brockhampton Holdings plc.  This still leaves a total of
767,227 Ordinary Shares owned by the Trust which represents 17.98% of the issued
shares in that class.

The shares are registered in the name of Brockhampton Trustees Limited.
