    WaveZero Launch of Form/Met� Fence and Lid EMI Shield
    

    Sunnyvale, CA - June 30, 2008 - Block Shield Corporation plc, the provider of innovative electronic components and processes utilised in
electromagnetic compatibility ('EMC') and Radio Frequency Identification applications, announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary WaveZero
Inc ('WaveZero'), a leader in Electromagnetic Interference ('EMI'), Radio Frequency Interference and Electrostatic Discharge shielding
solutions, has launched its Form/Met� Fence & Lid EMI Shield, which combines the benefits of traditional EMI shielding with a snap-on,
snap-off lid for easier access to underlying components for rework or repair.  
    
WaveZero provides innovative, greener solutions for reducing EMI in electronic products and components. Nearly all electronic products are
sources and receptors of EMI which may disrupt their proper functioning. Shielding seeks to eliminate or reduce the leakage of EMI from
within such products and the effect of EMI emissions from external sources.

    The Form/Met� Fence & Lid EMI Shield is comprised of a metal fence which can be soldered to a printed circuit board ('PCB') and a
plastic lid which is vacuum metalised to provide effective EMI shielding. The lid easily snaps on and off of the fence, so underlying
components can be accessed without damaging the shield and sacrificing EMI performance. The vacuum deposition process allows for thinner,
more complex metallic shielding that does not chip or flake over time, unlike conductive paints.
    The Form/Met� Fence & Lid EMI Shield's low cost and light weight make it an excellent replacement for heavier, more expensive cans that
are commonly used, but do not provide access to underlying components without damaging the can and compromising its shielding
effectiveness.
    The Form/Met� Fence & Lid EMI Shield is also environmentally friendly and is RoHS (a directive that restricts of the use of certain
hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) compliant. Its IEC
Standard 60601-1 compliance assures that Form/Met� Fence & Lid EMI Shield meets both the international EMC standard for medical devices as
well as the FDA requirements and government environmental regulations.
