                Posting of report and accounts and Board change                

Block Shield Corporation plc, the provider of innovative electronic components
and processes utilised in electromagnetic compatibility (`EMC') and Radio
Frequency Identification (`RFID') applications, announces that it has posted to
shareholders its report and accounts for the year ended 29 February 2008. The
report and accounts are available on the Company's website at
www.blockshield.com.

The Company also announces that Gary Koos, CFO and executive director, has
today resigned. He is replaced by Kenneth J. Purfey, CFS, CMA, CPA who joins as
acting CFO with immediate effect. Mr. Purfey has had an extensive business
career, including fifteen years as chief financial officer or holding other
senior financial roles for a variety of companies but mainly specialising in
high-tech and information technology. Most recently, he has been serving as
principal and project manager for SOA Projects INC., over the past six years,
overseeing the installation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance policies and
procedures.

Pending finalisation of Kenneth's appointment he will report to David M.Whelan,
non-executive vice chairman, whose remit will in the short term be extended to
include the co-ordination of all aspects of financial reporting.
