Brunswick Announces Second Quarter Earnings Call

LAKE FOREST, Ill., July 6, 2005  -- Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) will
release its second quarter 2005 financial earnings results on Wednesday, July
27, before the market opens.

The earnings conference call, hosted by George W. Buckley, chairman and chief
executive officer, Peter G. Leemputte, senior vice president and chief financial
officer, and Kathryn J. Chieger, vice president - corporate and investor
relations, is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CDT that same day.
