                   Notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting

On 20 July 2005 Bionex Investments plc ("the Company") published a circular to
shareholders regarding certain proposals for varying the investment strategy of
the Company and convening an extraordinary meeting to vote on such proposals on
24 August 2005.

Copies of the circular are available from the registered office of the Company

period of one month from the date of this announcement.
