                          CHANGE IN BOARD OF DIRECTORS

________________________________________________________________________________



Chris Tayelor has resigned as Financial Director of Brait and as a Director of
Brait and its subsidiaries, with effect from 8 August 2007.



Tayelor has served as Brait's Financial Director since its inception.  He
contributed significantly to Brait in his capacity Financial Director and as a
senior executive of Brait.



For some time, Tayelor has expressed a wish to cease executive involvement in
business.  He will, however, retain a non-executive role at Brait while pursuing
personal and leisure interests. Accordingly, an orderly process of handing over
his responsibilities has taken place. Tayelor will continue to keep his office
at Brait and will be responsible for a number of group projects.  He will
continue to provide advice and guidance to Brait.



CEO Antony Ball commented "on behalf of all of Chris' colleagues and our
fellow-directors, I would like to express sincere appreciation for Chris'
countless and selfless contributions made over the almost 10 years he has been
with Brait."



Mohale Masithela who joined Brait as the Chief Operating Officer in May now
joins the board of Brait S.A, with effect from 8 August 2007.  He is responsible
for the finance, human resources, IT, marketing, facilities and compliance
functions and is tasked with managing special projects.



Masithela, an attorney by training, had been at PricewaterhouseCoopers since
1999.  He was a partner of the firm since 2001 and was a member of the Executive
Committee.  Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Masithela was an Associate
Director in the Corporate Finance division of ABN Amro Bank.  Prior to that, he
worked in the New York and London offices of a leading international law firm.
Masithela received his Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of
Law and his Bachelors of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the City University
of New York.
