RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

1. Annual general meeting

 At the annual general meeting of the company held on Wednesday, 28 July 2004,
all the resolutions contained in the notice of annual general meeting, which
formed part of the annual financial statements to shareowners dated 11 June
2004, were passed by the requisite number of shareowners. These resolutions
regulated:

* the ratification and confirmation of the special interim dividend on 15
  December 2003;

* the adoption of the annual financial statements;

* the ratification of transfers to reserves;

* the discharge of directors, officers and statutory auditors of their mandates;

* the director's authority to issue shares;

* the authority to repurchase shares;

* the reappointment of directors;

* the reappointment of auditors; and

* the declaration and payment of a final dividend of 3.25 US cents per share.

 Shareowners on the South African register will receive a dividend of 20.52
South African cents per ordinary share in the company, based on a currency
conversion rate of R6.314 to US$1 on Wednesday,

28 July 2004 in Luxembourg at 12h00.

2. Final dividend

 The important dates pertaining to the final dividend are as follows:

 2004

Last day to trade cum dividend Thursday, 5 August

First trading day ex dividend Friday, 6 August

Record date (close of business) Friday, 13 August

Electronic transfer of funds or cheques posted

 by ordinary post in respect of certificated

 shareowners Monday, 16 August

Dematerialised shareowners' accounts held

 at their CSDP and/or broker credited Monday, 16 August

 Shareowners are reminded that ordinary shares on the JSE Securities Exchange
South Africa, may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Friday, 6
August 2004 and Friday, 13 August 2004, both days inclusive.
