    Part disposal of holding in NicoBloc plc


    The board of Capital Ideas, an AIM quoted investment company, is pleased to announce the disposal of part of its shareholding in
NicoBloc plc ("NicoBloc"), the tobacco cessation product marketing company.

    Capital Ideas has sold 37,313,433 million ordinary shares in NicoBloc ("NicoBloc Shares") at 0.67p each for a net consideration of
�250,000 in cash.  This represents approximately half of the Company's holding in NicoBloc and following this disposal, Capital Ideas holds
a total of 37,696,681 NicoBloc Shares, representing 2.5% of NicoBloc's issued share capital.

    The NicoBloc Shares were originally issued to Capital Ideas in consideration of it providing certain services to NicoBloc in connection
with its re-structuring, a proposed fundraising scheduled to take place later this month and the preparation for the proposed future
admission of its entire issued share capital to trading on AIM.  

    Capital Chairman, Renwick Haddow, said: "We are very pleased with the sale of the NicoBloc Shares which shows there is still demand for
investment in quality companies even in the current difficult markets."

    "Our business model is based on being able to exit investments in the short to medium term. It is encouraging that normal exit routes
are still open to us albeit that investors are becoming a lot more selective".

    The funds raised will be used by the Company to invest in future investment opportunities and projects.
