Franco-U.S. telecommunications equipment company Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) Monday said it secured 40% of China Telecom's (CHA) 2009 fiber-to-the-home trial projects.

The contracts were secured through Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell, Alcatel-Lucent's flagship company in China, the group said in a statement.

No financial details were disclosed.
