The  Board  of  Core  VCT  V  plc  ('the  Company')  is  pleased to announce the 
appointment  of David  Harris as  a non  executive Director  of the Company with 
effect from 25 August 2010. 
 
David  Harris who  is 60 years  old is  chief executive of InvaTrust Consultancy 
Ltd,  a specialist investment and marketing  consultancy group that undertakes a 
variety  of projects  within the  investment fund  management industry.   He was 
previously  a director responsible for  training, education and marketing issues 
at  the  Association  of  Investment  Companies  from  1995 to  1999.  David  is 
currently  a non executive  director of The  Character Group plc, COBRA Holdings 
plc,  Aseana Properties Ltd, Small Companies  Dividend Trust plc, Manchester and 
London Investment Trust plc, F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc and SDF Productions 
Ltd.     He was a non executive  director of Osprey Smaller Companies Limited up 
until  April 2009 when  it was  taken over  by Manchester  and London Investment 
Trust plc. 
 
There  is no other information required  to be disclosed under section 9.6.13 of 
the Listing Rules. 
 
Following  the appointment  of David  Harris to  the Board  of the  Company, Ray 
Maxwell  has resigned  as non  executive Chairman  of the Company with immediate 
effect  and  Greg  Aldridge  has  been  appointed  Chairman  in his place.  Greg 
Aldridge (aged 46) was appointed a Director of the Company in 2009.  A biography 
of  Mr Aldridge is set out on page 8 of  the report and accounts for the year to 
31 December 2009.  These changes will ensure that the Company is fully compliant 
with Chapter 15 of the Listing Rules. 
 
The  Board would like to  take this opportunity in  thanking Ray Maxwell for his 
valuable contribution since inception of the Company.
