Portfolio realisation update

The Board of Diamond Circle Capital plc is pleased to announce that, in accordance with its newly revised investment objective and policy, it has sold five out of the company's portfolio of eleven diamonds for an aggregate gross consideration of $10.2 million which compares to the carrying value as at 31 July 2012 of $12.0 million. The net aggregate proceeds after all selling commission and costs amounts to $9.7 million.

It is now the Board's intention to make an initial return of capital to shareholders. The Company is determining the method by which to return this capital and a further announcement will be made in due course.

The Board continues to explore and consider all opportunities to realise the remaining portfolio of diamonds in an orderly and timely manner.
