                  Offer (the "Offer") for Eidos PLC ("Eidos")

SCi has today received an irrevocable undertaking to accept the Offer from Plane
Investment Limited on behalf of Eidos shareholders holding 5,000,000 Eidos
shares, representing approximately 3.52 per cent. of the issued share capital of
Eidos. The irrevocable undertaking will continue to be binding even if a higher
offer is made for Eidos and will cease to be binding only if the Offer lapses or
is withdrawn.

On 29 March 2005, SCi announced that it had received an irrevocable undertaking
to accept the Offer from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited on behalf of
Eidos shareholders holding 6,913,003 Eidos shares, representing approximately
4.87 per cent. of the issued share capital of Eidos. SCi now announces that on
31 March 2005 it received an irrevocable undertaking to accept the Offer from
Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited on behalf of Eidos shareholders
holding a further 800,000 Eidos shares, representing approximately 0.56 per
cent. of the issued share capital of Eidos. The irrevocable undertakings from
Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited will continue to be binding even if a
higher offer is made for Eidos and will cease to be binding only if the Offer
lapses or is withdrawn.

Accordingly, in aggregate SCi has now received irrevocable undertakings to
accept the Offer in respect of 43,122,255 Eidos shares, representing
approximately 30.37 per cent. of the issued share capital of Eidos, of which
undertakings in respect of 40,795,455 Eidos shares, representing approximately
28.73 per cent. of the issued share capital of Eidos, will continue to be
binding even if a higher offer is made for Eidos.
